Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.

Intended Audience: This challenging hike is recommended for adults or children at least ages 10 and older with an adult.

Program Description: Whoooo’s hootin’ tonight? Learn the different species of owls in our area and take a hike to visit our neighbors down in the holler. RAPTOR Inc. will provide us with a behind-the-scenes tour of their beautiful home for birds of prey. We’ll take a challenging night hike and learn to “call” our feathered friends. It’ll be a hoot! 

What to Expect:

  • Participants for this hike must have the ability to stand still and be super quiet. 
  • This exclusive after-hours experience at RAPTOR Inc. will involve a three-mile hike which includes hills and steps. This will be a fun, but challenging night hike. 
  • A portion of the ticket fees will be used to support wildlife rehabilitation at RAPTOR Inc. 
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather with footwear suitable for hiking.
  • Flashlights are discouraged. 

Where to Meet: Program participants should meet at the map kiosk outside of Groesbeck Estate (Center for Conservation) at our Rowe Woods location. 

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
