Registration Requirement: Preregistration is required.

Recommended Audience: This program is designed for the caregiver to attend with their child ages 1–3. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Up to two adult caregivers may attend with a child.

Program Description: During this self-paced discovery program, young children and their caregivers will explore nature together through multiple senses and outdoor exploration. Meander the trail and visit naturalist-lead stations to discover two items adored by children: sticks and stones!

What to Expect: 

• This program is entirely outdoors.
• Restrooms are available throughout the program.  
• Trails/areas used during this program are rated as easy (mild hills, gravel trails) for a planned distance of 0-.25 miles at a your own pace.
• Program runs rain or shine.

What to Wear: Dress for the weather and to be outdoors the entire time.

Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the Fernwood Shelter at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150) You’ll find parking by the Fernwood Shelter or the Nature Preschool.

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
