Intended Audience: This family-friendly program is perfect for adults and/or families with children ages 8 and up. Children must attend with a parent/caregiver.

Program Description: Did you know a single toad can eat 10,000 insect pests every summer? During this program, we’ll build one-of-a-kind toad abodes to welcome these insect-gobbling amphibians to your garden. We’ll give old containers a second life and adorn them with natural materials and lost treasures. Participants are welcome to bring their own plastic containers or broken pots, but options will be provided.

Where to Meet: Registered participants should meet at Fernwood Shelter at our Rowe Woods location.

Pricing: Each ticket includes one daily admission and one toad abode. Fees are per toad abode; a parent may purchase one toad abode to work on with their child. Nonmember parents who purchase a ticket for their child, but do not purchase a ticket for themselves, will pay daily admission at the gate.  

Check your email for registration information regarding this transaction. SAVE A TREE, please retain your order number or save an electronic copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt. You may be asked for your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program. Visitor Services associates can also verify your etickets from the order number or by name.
