Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.
Intended Audience: Best for adults and children ages 7 and up with an adult caregiver.
Program Description: Join us for hands-on, feet-wet fun as we search O'Bannon Creek for freshwater mussels and more. Meet, touch, and learn about our amazing native mussels, courtesy of the Ohio River Foundation. Then we'll head to the creek for a guided hike to search for mussels and other critters that rely on healthy streams.
For 24 years, the Ohio River Foundation has worked diligently to protect and improve the water quality and ecology of the Ohio River and its watershed. We have succeeded in reaching our goals through advocacy, habitat restoration, and school education and youth programs.
