Program Description: Travel through time with naturalists as we hike down to our creek to explore the ancient Ordovician Sea here at Rowe Woods! Take a deep dive into the history of our region, searching for fossils and observing the pre-historic landscape that lives under our feet!
What to Expect: This adventure includes a moderately challenging hike to our creek on the Geology Trail. Please keep the following in mind:
What to Wear: Creek exploration can get messy, so be prepared to get a little wet. Please wear old clothes and shoes that you can walk in, but also get wet. No rain boots or crocs please.
Where to Meet: Registered program participants should meet on the side porch of the Rowe Woods Visitor Center at our Rowe Woods location (4949 Tealtown Rd., Milford, OH 45150).
Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
