Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.
Intended Audience: Recommended for 5 years and up with a caregiver. Adult chaperones/parents must register and should attend with their child. Older and younger siblings may attend if they are registered and paid. This program is designed for homeschoolers/virtual learners. (2 years and under are free.)
Program Description: Join a naturalist for this winter adventure to find some of our native maple trees and learn about how the process of photosynthesis is involved with the production of maple syrup, which we call “liquid sunshine.” Help with sugaring work and sample warm maple syrup right off the evaporator.
What to Expect:
What to Bring: A water bottle is recommended.
What to Wear: Please dress in layers to ensure proper warmth and comfort.
Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the Outdoor Learning Center at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150)
Look for the “Sap Hikes Start Here” sign.
Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
