Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.

Recommended Audience: This program is best suited for children ages 3-6 years old with an adult caregiver. Children must attend with an adult caregiver.

Program Description: Get ready to use all your senses as we discover the magic of maple! With a naturalist, young children and their caregivers will explore the land we get our maple sap from and follow its journey to become maple syrup.

What to Expect: 

• This program is mostly outdoors. 
• Restrooms are available only at the start and end of the program, as we will be out on the trails during the program.  
• Trails/areas used during this program are rated as accessible (packed gravel trails, mild hills, may be muddy or slippery depending on the weather) for a planned distance of about .25 miles at a slow pace.
• Program runs rain or shine. 

What to Wear: Please dress in layers to ensure proper warmth and comfort. 

Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the Outdoor Learning Center at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150)
Look for the “Sap Hikes Start Here” sign.

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
