Program Description: The forests are teeming with edible delights! Join us as we celebrate this bountiful time of year with drinks, food, games, and all things foraged. 

This adults-only event will feature:

• live music on the Krippendorf Terrace from 6:30-9:30 pm. 
• activities and demos all centered around Ohio’s abundant wild food sources.
• complimentary samples of beer and spirits made with CNC-foraged ingredients from local breweries and distilleries. Additional beer, wine, and a signature foraged cocktail will be available for purchase.
• foraged sweet treats and food bite samples.
• artisan goods from local makers are available for purchase.
• food for purchase from a local food truck.

Note: Activity stations on the trail will close at 9:30 pm due to it being completely dark on the trails. Activities at the Krippendorf Lodge (food trucks, vendors, the bar) will remain open until 10 pm.

What to Wear: Dress for the weather and to be outdoors the entire time.

Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the Krippendorf Lodge at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150)

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission. Forager's Fest is a fundraiser for Cincinnati Nature Center. All revenue raised at this event supports our mission of “Inspiring Conservation." All sales are final. No refunds.

Frequently Asked Questions: 

• Do I have to know anything about foraging to attend this event? No. This event is open to anyone 21+ with a ticket, regardless of experience or knowledge of foraging. ID required.
• Do I have to purchase a ticket?  Yes. Preregistration is required. We do expect this event to sell out.
• Can I get a refund? All sales are final. Refunds are not issued unless Cincinnati Nature Center must cancel the event due to inclement weather or other reasons. You are welcome to give your ticket(s) to someone else in the event that you are no longer able to make it. To do so, share your receipt with the QR code with the new ticket holder so they can show it at Registration for admission. 
• Do I have to be an adult member to attend: No, non-member adults are encouraged to attend. 
• Do I have to stay the entire time? No! This event is open house style, and guests are welcome to arrive at any time and stay as long as they would like. Please note: Activity stations along the trail will close at 9:30 pm due to it being completely dark on the trails. Activities at the Krippendorf Lodge (food trucks, vendors, the bar) will remain open until 10 pm. 
• What time is the music? Live music will start at 6:30 pm and end at 9:30 pm, with the musician taking a couple of breaks throughout.
• Will there be food and drink at this event? Yes, there will be two trucks with food for purchase, select complimentary food and drink samples, and additional beer, wine, and a foraged cocktail available for purchase.                                          
• Can I bring in my own food and drink? No. With the exception of water bottles, absolutely no outside food and drink will be allowed.
• Will there be non-alcoholic options available for purchase? This is an alcohol-focused event, so most of the beverage options will be alcoholic. However, select soft drinks, water bottles, and a non-alcoholic beer will be for sale at the bar.  
• Will credit cards be accepted for food and drink purchases? Yes, all major credit cards will be accepted, as well as cash. 
• Can I bring my pet? No. Service animals only, please. 
• Will this event take place outside?  Yes. This event will have some covered space but will largely take place outdoors. All Cincinnati Nature Center programs take place rain or shine.   
• Will there be parking at this event?  Yes. There is plenty of parking available at Krippendorf Lodge. Parking is free with ticket.

Check your email for registration information regarding this transaction. SAVE A TREE, please retain your order number or save an electronic copy of the email acknowledgement as a receipt. You may be asked for your order number from your transaction to gain entry at the gate/to attend your program. Visitor Services associates can also verify your etickets from the order number or by name.
