Recommended Audience: This program is designed for adults and interested children ages 10 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Program Description: Learn by doing as Pete and Emalee Richman of Rich Life Farm and Fungi walk you through the step-by-step process of growing your own gourmet elm oyster mushrooms. You’ll leave with your own indoor mushroom grow kit that you created during this workshop.

In this hands-on class, you’ll:

• learn how to use readily available materials to continue the cycle (if desired) once your mushroom kit is done growing.
• pick up tips on the science that goes with mushroom identification

What to Expect: This workshop includes a presentation, discussion, and Q&A, in addition to a hands-on component.  

• Restrooms are available throughout the program.
• This program is indoors in an unheated barn with an outdoor "make and take" component. We will move indoors if the weather is not agreeable.
• Program runs rain or shine.

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
