Audience: This program is designed exclusively for adults ages 21 and older. All guests must present a valid ID upon entry.  

Program Description: Set against the idyllic backdrop of Cincinnati Nature Center’s Krippendorf Lodge, the sun will set on the summer woods and give way to a lively night of music and dancing. Food, wine, beer, and a signature foraged cocktail will be available for purchase. 

Band: Jam Band Jovi 

Jam Band Jovi is a subversive bluegrass rock band. Playing everything from traditional bluegrass tunes to original music to popular hits both current and classic, you never know what you are going to get at a Jam Band Jovi show.

Food Truck: Rollin’ Bowls 

Event time is 7-10pm, with music from 7:30-9:30pm. Doors will open at 6:45pm. No entry into the venue will be allowed prior to this time.  

What to Expect: There will be limited seating available at this event, which is meant to be reserved for those with additional needs. The atmosphere at these events is lively and meant to encourage mingling and dancing. If you have a physical limitation and need to reserve a chair, please email Laura Whalen at [email protected]. 

This event will take place on a covered, outdoor patio, so festivities will take place rain or shine! 

Where to Meet: Registrants will check in at the Krippendorf Lodge at our Rowe Woods location.   

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission. This event is a fundraiser for Cincinnati Nature Center and all revenue earned goes towards our mission of Inspiring Conservation.

Where will this event be held?

• Music Under the Moon will take place at Cincinnati Nature Center’s Krippendorf Lodge. Krippendorf Lodge is located at our Rowe Woods location at 4949 Tealtown Rd., Milford, OH, 45150. More information can be found here.

Will this event take place outdoors?

• Yes. This event will be held outside on the Krippendorf Lodge terrace under a large tent. Because the space is covered from the elements, this event will be held rain or shine. Inclement weather such as lightning or high winds will result in a cancellation. Should weather result in a cancellation, all guests will be notified by 2 pm the day of the event, and a full refund will be issued.  

Is this event family friendly?

• No. This event is best suited for adults 21+

Can I bring my pet?

• No. Please leave your furry friends at home for this event. Registered service animals only.

Is parking provided?

• Yes. There is plenty of free parking at Krippendorf Lodge.

Will there be food and drink at this event?

• Yes. There will be a food truck, with food available for purchase, at each event.

Will there be alcohol available for purchase?

• Yes. Beer and wine will be available for purchase for those ages 21+. Guests are welcome to bring water. No outside food or beverages (other than water), please.

Will credit cards be accepted for food and drink purchases?

• Yes. All major credit cards will be accepted, as well as cash.

Will there be seating at this event?

• Yes. There will be some seating available. There will also be high-top tables for standing and socializing. Priority seating will be available for those with additional needs. 

Do I have to be a member of the Cincinnati Nature Center to attend?

• No. Nonmembers are encouraged to attend.
