Registration Requirements: Preregistration required. 

Recommended Audience: All program registrants must be 21+. 

Program Description: First we forage, then we feast! Lace up your hiking boots for a guided foraging walk, followed by a hyper-local feast of foraged delights. This program will consist of a roughly 1-mile hike on our trails to see what’s growing. After this, we'll head to the Krippendorf Lodge to enjoy food and drink made from some of our finds. 

What to Expect: This event will be held outdoors. The hiking portion will be held on our trails, and the food portion will take place on an outdoor terrace under a covered tent.  

  • There will be some gradual inclines along the trail. The hike will cover about 1-mile of our trails. It will not be strenuous, but it is best to check in with our staff before registering if you have concerns about physical constraints. Please contact Laura Whalen at [email protected] if you have questions or concerns.  
  • Parking for this event will be at the Krippendorf Lodge.
  • There are restrooms in the Krippendorf Lodge. Note that there are no restrooms along the trails.

Where to Meet: Registrants meet at the Krippendorf Lodge at our Rowe Woods location (4949 Tealtown Rd., Milford, OH 45150).   

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.

Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?  

  • We cannot promise to accommodate every dietary restriction, however, if you contact our staff at least one week prior to the program, we’ll do our best. To relay dietary information, please reach out to Laura Whalen at [email protected] 

Will this event be held outdoors?  

  • This event will be held outdoors. The hiking portion will be held on our trails, and the food portion will take place on an outdoor terrace under a covered tent. Please dress for the weather—this includes bringing extra layers for warmth, wearing appropriate footwear for walking, and wearing a raincoat if needed.

Can I bring my dog?

  • No. Service animals only, please.   

What age range is the event appropriate for?  

  • This event is only acceptable for ages 21+ since there will be alcohol served.  

Is the trail difficult?
